1. Take a gondola ride!
Step inside the Venetian hotel and be instantly transported into Venice! It’s hard to believe these shop lined canals can fit inside a hotel. Watch the Gondolas sail past you, or take a ride on one yourself. It costs $29.00 per person. A private 2 person Gondola, will set you back $116!
2. Party all day at a pool party!
Temperatures in the summer can be almost unbearable in Las Vegas, so take some time to chill by the pool or attend a world famous pool party! Most hotels will offer their guests free access to their pool parties, so it’s worth seeing what parties your hotel has going on to save some money!
3. Watch the Bellagio fountains!
The show at the Fountains of Bellagio is a free spectacular of water, music and light! The shows run between every 15 to every 30 minutes between 3 pm until midnight!
4. Eat a Giordano’s pizza!
Giordano’s is the place to eat if you want a good pizza! Known for its deep-dish cheesy pull pizza, you can often spot Giordano’s pizza on Facebook and Instagram videos! These handcrafted pizzas can take up to an hour to prepare on busy nights, so make sure you leave plenty of time!
5. Be entertained at Fremont Street!
Sometimes referred to as the ‘original’ Las Vegas, Fremont Street is a famous street in Las Vegas that houses many famous casinos such as Golden Gate Hotel and Casino, Golden Nugget and Four Queens. It’s now a popular premier entertainment destination, with light shows on the worlds largest video screen, a high adrenaline Zipline, nightlife and iconic restaurants such as the Heart Attack Grill!
6. Feel the thrill of the Stratosphere Tower!
Whether you want to just take in some breathtaking views, or get your adrenaline pumping on one of the thrilling rides 1,149 feet in the air, the stratosphere is the ultimate thrill-seeking environment!
7. Dance the night away at a mega-club!
Inside each of the main hotels on the strip, you will find a nightclub! From Hakkasan in the MGM, 1OAK in the Mirage and Marquee in the Cosmopolitan, you can often catch some big names performing or hosting in these mega-clubs, with the likes of Calvin Harris, Chris Brown and the Kardashians!
8. Take a photo at the Welcome Sign
Everyone needs a picture with the iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign! It’s a well internationally known landmark, designed by Betty Willis, and located on the Las Vegas Strip just south of Russell Road.
9. Take a trip to the Grand Canyon
Just a 2-hour drive from the Las Vegas strip is the amazing Grand Canyon West Rim. This is definitely one to tick off the bucket list! The West Rim is owned by the Hualapai Indian Tribe. You can explore the amazing viewpoints, walk on the Skywalk, and even explore the Hualapai ranch.
10. See world-famous landmarks
Who needs to travel the world when you can see so many places on one street? Landmarks that can be found on the strip include, the New York skyline, The Statue of Liberty, The Arc De Triumph, The Eiffel Tower, the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, Venice Canals and the Sphinx!
